PHYSICAL OPPORTUNITIES – POSSIBILITY TO ADD VIRTUAL COMPONENTS
Organising an Industry Symposia is the most impressive and efficient way to educate and stimulate a large audience. By offering cutting-edge science, revealing clinical data or examining case studies, organisers can add to the programme of the ERS International Congress and convey messages in a highly relevant environment.

Diversity and Gender Equality Measures within European Respiratory Society (ERS) In recognition of the importance of appropriate diversity and gender representation, the ERS will implement certain measures to ensure that the operation of the society will offer equal opportunity to all of its members and contributors. Part of these measures will be the consideration of gender equality when selecting faculty for educational events. The ERS leadership and the ERS Congress Programme Committee would like to encourage all companies wishing to hold Industry organized symposia at the ERS Congress in Vienna, and at future Congresses, to consider an equal opportunities approach when selecting chairs and speakers for their events. - Lunch Symposium – 12:15-13:15 (only available to companies who have booked an evening symposium)

- Mini-Evening Symposium – 17:30-18:30

Virtual components
This year, it will be possible to add virtual components to your physical symposium. Several rooms will be equipped with sophisticated AV equipment that will allow live broadcasting on the virtual platform to engage with the online audience. In addition, there is also a possibility to have the webcast of your session displayed on the virtual platform after the live session ends.
- AV equipment for live broadcasting: CHF 30,000
- Webcast: CHF 10,000
More important information:
- All digital content will be hosted on the Virtual Congress platform until 31st December 2021.
- Companies having a physical presence will benefit from a discount of 20% on virtual symposia options (see below).
- For all digital options booked, any editing needed is subject to extra charges (unless you reach Gold or Platinum Partnership).
VIRTUAL OPPORTUNITIES
Following the success of the live studios during our very first virtual Congress 2020, one studio will be available to the Industry. Companies can book a time slot to engage with the online delegates:
